Spectrex 40/40U-UB – UV Flame Detector
A brand new flame Spectrex UV 40/40u-ub-UV detector transmits fuel and hydrocarbons vapour-based fires, invisible flames of hydrogen-based fire. It is adequate for hydride-based fires (ammonia NH3 and silane SiH4 included) and many other organic substances.
40 / 40U-UB is the most durable and resistant to processing conditions unit on world’s market. Its new functions includes: heated window (preventing from moist condensation and icing), HART interface module (to digital communication), higher electric capacity and lighter, compact casing.
40 / 40UB includes BIT (built-in-test) – reliability testing function, 40 / 40U does not.
Note: this type of transmitter shouldn’t be exposed on UV radiation and such factors as: welding, sparks and electric arcs, which results in releasing false alarms.
