Spectrex 40/40UFL Ultra Fast UV/IR Flame Detector
A new fire detector Spectrex SharpEye UV-IR Ultra Fast 40/40UFL type was designed, so as to provide fast reaction (20 ms from fire detection) and high reliability (immunity to false alarms). Spectrex SharpEye UV-IR fire detector is based on widely known military transmitter, employed in Armored Vehicles Explosion Suppression System, combined with the industrial detector 40/40LB.
The 40/40 LB can detect hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires, hydrogen fires, as well as metal and inorganic fires.
The signals from both sensors are analyzed for frequency, intensity and duration. Simultaneous detection of radiant energy in both the UV and IR sensors triggers an alarm signal. The UV sensor incorporates a special logic circuit that helps prevent false alarms caused by solar radiation.
