Sparks detectors Hansentek

An effective sparks detector which monitors all potential paths in a network of wires where spark or ember can appear.

After detecting a spark or an ember, a water curtain is put through which they must passt. Each main ducts system is considered a protection zone. If the duster has only one main duct, then only one zone is required.

Sparks detector 121-2S is a fast, ultra-sensitive optical energy sensor.

Designed to detect small sparks, ember particles or smoldering material being transported in the pipes.

They are designed for installations where the temperature in the duct may exceed 60º C and reach up to 260º C. This is possible due to the fact that the detector itself is mounted at a distance from the channel, and in the high temperature area there is only an optical probe equipped into a sapphire lens.

Spark detectors distinguish three features of effectiveness:

  • Spark detectors are extremely sensitive to very small amounts of radiation energy;

  • Their reaction time is faster than from any other type of detector;

  • They are optimized for seeing the spectrum of the near infrared spectrum.

Advantages

  • Reaction time: under 1 m
  • Sensitivity: less than 100 nanos
  • A wide range of the spectrum
  • Durable design
  • Wide field of view – 70º on the prob
  • Easy assembly
  • Smooth surface for self-cleaning
  • FM APPROVED

Principle of operation

Sparks detector 121-2s is sensitive to radiation in wavelength range from 0,4 micron to 1,1 micron and it is the most sensitive in the spectrum close to the infrared range.

When a spark or smoldering ember enters the detector’s field of view, the sensor responds by sending an alarm signal to the controller.

Most applications require two detectors, that is a total of 4 optical probes. The probes are attached at 90 degrees from each other. The detector 1 is attached „at 1:30 am and 4:30 am” and the detector 2 „at 7:30 am and 10:30 am”.

Sensitivity test

When using the control panel Hansentek there is the possibility of automatic or manual testing of two detectors 121 -2s for sensitivity

You can also perform a test under real operating conditions – across the entire width of the channel and through both lenses.

SPRAY ASSEMBLY
Y MODEL 902-1 SPRAY ASSEMBLY

Spray nozzle 902 is powered by 24 VDC and its demand is 15 watts.

The spray nozzle has a one-piece design, and its spiral shape is ideal when used with bag filters.

Due to its construction, the nozzle is very resistant to clogging.

There are two types of nozzles to choose from: wide 120 degrees and internal narrow.

The controlled solenoid valve allows for mounting inside the plant by means of a pipe connection between the valve and the nozzle. This eliminates the need to use glycol loops as well as other expensive solutions.

The nozzle has a coefficient k of 6.5. This means that its throughput is 180 liters per minute at 0.35 MPA.

SPARKS DETECTION SYSTEM AN6400

Sparks detection systems is used in systems which use the pneumatic transport of particles, and where there is a risk of fire or explosion. It is possible to distinguish transport systems for materials such as sawdust, cellulose fibers, chemical dust, food ingredients, medicines or other combustible materials. They are also used in systems where welding fumes exist, in which smoldering particles or hot material can be transferred along with the exhaust fumes.

AN6400 has the ability to expand up to 64 zones, but also is competitive even for systems with only one zone.

The modular design ensures that you only pay for what you need.

Each zone has its own processor so that adding each next does not release the system. Thanks to the intelligent management system, there is no need to create a huge central control unit if there are one, two or three zones on the installation. Adding additional zones is very simple: modules responsible for zones can be mounted on a DIN rail, and wires can be connected using plug in connectors.

AN6400 is the most comprehensive system available on the market. AN6400 can monitor up to 64 zones and allows each sparks detector to be identified in the zone. In each zone you can also monitor the switches responsible for water flow, water pressure or water line heating systems, as well as heat detectors. After the alarm is detected, the system is able to distinguish whether it is caused by the detection of a spark or heat, which results in performing various preventive actions, such as: water spraying, closing the damper, closing the dust collector, etc.

AN6400 stores all events in memory – they show the date and time they occurred. Events can be conveniently viewed on the LCD display built into the control panel.
Sparks detector Hansentek AN6400 automatically performs a functional sensitivity test of detectors When the detectors are mounted opposite one another, you can automatically or manually perform the test under real operating conditions over the entire width of the channel and through both detector lenses.

All of these advanced features are standard – not as expensive options!
