A risk of explosion widely occurs in almost every branch of industry, transportation and explosive dust or liquids storage. Lots of preventing methods are known, many designing solutions may be applied, either. Explosion protective systems distinguish on following classes: venting, suppression and insulation. Venting and suppression of explosion are applied for appliances like closed solids, so as to protect them against overpressure.
The aim of explosion insulation systems is to defend against the fire and pressure expansion. Chemical decoupling is a solution for fire (caused by explosion) spreading prevention in connected pipelines, as chemical powder barrier is created. The system comprises of adequate detector and a bottle filled with powder under a pressure of nitrogen.
